Six Alumni, Part-time Student, and Adjunct Professor Win Nevada General Election Races

Cynthia Dustin-Cruz ’03 is now Justice of the Peace for Las Vegas Township Department 5, edging past her opponent William “Bill” Jansen with 632 votes.
Lucy Flores ’10 ran uncontested in the State Assembly District 28 race.
Jason Frierson ’01 won 61 percent of the votes against Arthur Martinez in the State Assembly District 8 race.
William C. Horne ’01 earned 57 percent of the votes against Clark Harrington in the State Assembly District 34 race.
James Ohrenschall ’09 gained 60 percent of the votes against Bridgette Bryant in the State Assembly District 12 race.
Mason Simons '03 won the Elko Township Justice of the Peace seat, earning 55 percent of the votes against David Loreman.
Part-time student Elliot Anderson brought in 72 percent of the votes against Megan Heryet in the State Assembly District 15 race.
Adjunct Professor Aaron Ford garnered 62 percent of the votes against John Drake in the State Senate District 11 race.
