Two Boyd School of Law Alumni Elected to Nevada Board of Governors

Boyd School of Law alumni Amber Candelaria and Mason Simons are two of nine members elected to the 2009 State Bar of Nevada Board of Governors.

Candelaria graduated from the Boyd School of Law in 2006 and currently serves as the Program Director at the Eight Judicial District Family Court in Las Vegas.

Simons is a Family/Juvenile Court Master at the Fourth Judicial District Court in Elko. He graduated from the Boyd School of Law in 2003.

Candelaria and Simons will be sworn in at the State Bar of Nevada’s Annual Meeting on June 12, at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, Nev. They will serve a two-year term.
