As the Externship Coordinator, Maria assists Professor Nielsen in the operations of the Externship Program. Prior to joining Boyd, Maria worked in the legal field for 25+ years as a legal secretary, staff interpreter/translator, and mitigation paralegal primarily in the area of indigent criminal defense. Maria is a UNLV alumna.
