Trish Conlon earned her B.S. in Biology from Washington State University and M.A. in Educational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University. She earned her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. At Willamette Law, Trish served as the President of the Student Bar Association, as an Academic Excellence Fellow, and as an Executive Editor of the Willamette Journal of International Law and Dispute Resolution. Prior to law school, Ms. Conlon was an educator and served in roles ranging from high school teacher to community college administrator, as well as authoring QuickBooks, Excel, and Outlook textbooks. She also volunteered as a Victim Advocate for the Marion County (Oregon) District Attorney's Office for over five years. During law school, Trish clerked for a civil defense firm and externed with Animal Wellness Action/Center for a Humane Economy and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Additionally, she was a participant in Animal Legal Defense Fund's year-long Animal Law Student Scholars' Workshop. Prior to joining the team at Boyd School of Law, Ms. Conlon clerked for the Honorable Jessica Peterson at the Eighth Judicial District Court in Clark County, Nevada. As Associate Director of Career Development, Ms. Conlon works with both students and alumni, providing them with career counseling, job placement assistance, and networking opportunities. Additionally, she crafts resources to assist with these endeavors. Trish also serves as the Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Young Lawyers Section of the Nevada State Bar and is on the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Clark County Bar Association.
