The Gaming Law Society (GLS) is a student-run organization that seeks to foster a better understanding of what gaming attorneys do and what issues they may face on a day-to-day basis. Through frequent events we aim to show how changes in gaming technology and legislation can have a local effect on the economy. We accomplish this by: inviting guest speakers to give on-campus presentations; sponsoring field trips to various locations such as hotel/casinos and equipment manufacturers; participating in gaming symposiums; and more.
Membership is open, without discrimination to all students at the William S. Boyd School of Law.
While the Gaming Law Society encourages students with an interest in the gaming law to join, all law students at the Williams S. Boyd School of Law are welcome. Active members are responsible for participating in Gaming Law Society events. All GLS events are open to all students, regardless of whether they are dues-paying members. The Gaming Law Society looks forward to gaining new and dedicated members this year.
