What do you do in your free time?

Recently, I have taken on 2 new community service roles.

I am serving as a founding board director and Treasurer of Teach Public Schools, Las Vegas. Teach is a charter school that will be geared towards students from underserved communities providing technology training and college preparation. The mission of TEACH Academy of Technologies is to create a high quality, innovative teaching and learning environment that focuses on literacy; integrating state-of-the-art technologies across the core curriculum to achieve academic proficiency for all students.

Also, I am serving as a Diversity & Inclusion Ambassador to American Red Cross as part of their national volunteer leadership team. The American Red Cross, through its strong network of volunteers, donors and partners, is always there in times of need. We aspire to turn compassion into action so that...
...all people affected by disaster across the country and around the world receive care, shelter and hope;
...our communities are ready and prepared for disasters;
...everyone in our country has access to safe, lifesaving blood and blood products;
...all members of our armed services and their families find support and comfort whenever needed; and
...in an emergency, there are always trained individuals nearby, ready to use their Red Cross skills to save lives.

Although not a new role, I currently also serve as the Community Outreach & Voter Initiatives Chair with National Bar Association, Las Vegas Chapter.

I think it’s important to advocate for others.

I also enjoy spending time with her family and friends, traveling abroad, and volunteering.

Words of advice?

I am also always glad to provide words of wisdom for students and/or new attorneys.
