Dr. Shestowsky is the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and a Professor of Law at the University of California, Davis, School of Law. She is also a member of the Graduate Group in Psychology at UC Davis. Her research integrates psychology and law to reimagine the legal system and improve its processes. With a teaching portfolio that includes ADR, Advanced Negotiation, and Client Counseling, Dr. Shestowsky brings a wealth of expertise to the lecture.

Her groundbreaking research has earned numerous accolades, including the 2016 Mangano Dispute Resolution Advancement Award and the Best Article of 2018 by the AALS Section on ADR. She has also served as an advisor to courts and organizations on ADR program development and negotiation education, bringing theory into practice to benefit the legal community.

A recipient of both a J.D. and Ph.D. in Psychology from Stanford University, Dr. Shestowsky has been recognized nationally for her contributions, including her recent election as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and her leadership of the award-winning AALS Section on ADR in 2023.
