Prof. Birke will speak on “The Application of Neuroscience to Dispute Resolution and Other Legal Matters.” He is the director of the Center for Dispute Resolution (CDR) at Willamette University College of Law in Oregon and has been teaching dispute resolution for almost 20 years. Birke is an active writer, mediator, trainer and consultant, whose current research work relates to practical applications of behavioral decision theory and neuroscience.
